Medical bills can sometimes be complex and confusing. Our goal is to provide you with clear and transparent information about your bill and our billing process.

CPT Codes

The CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes are numbers that describe medical, surgical, and diagnostic services and are designed to communicate uniform information about medical services and procedures among every party involved in the patient care. CPT is also used for administrative management purposes such as claims processing and developing guidelines for medical care review.

Medical bills

AmMed Cancer Center offers a direct billing service with a large number of our insurance partners. As each insurance company and policy differs, we will endeavour to establish your cover and bill your insurance company for the amount covered. Our direct billing process is designed to save you, our patient, the hassle of the reimbursement procedure. Please note that due to the difference in policies not all items will be able to be direct billed. Cash and credit card payment is also accepted at all our facilities.
